As Casa de Peregrinos enters its 46th year, we reflect with deep gratitude on the invaluable services we’ve been privileged to offer, supported wholeheartedly by our community. Looking ahead, we are resolutely committed to expanding our outreach to reach more families in need.
By fostering partnerships with local schools, churches, and fellow non-profits, we pledge to innovate and overcome barriers that hinder access to essential services.
Our initiatives focus on providing supplemental, nutritious groceries to food-insecure families throughout Las Cruces and Doña Ana County, complementing federal programs like WIC and SNAP.
Eligibility is determined through client self-declaration based on New Mexico Emergency Food Assistance Program guidelines, ensuring equitable access for those in need.
Recognizing the diverse nature of food insecurity, we continually develop targeted programs tailored to different vulnerable groups, including the homeless, school-aged children during breaks, rural populations, and seniors. Our commitment lies in maintaining a variety of initiatives that directly address the specific needs of families across our community.
Together, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our neighbors, advocating tirelessly for a hunger-free future in Doña Ana County.
