Sunland Park Pantry Coordinator
Location: 3465 McNutt Road, Sunland Park, NM
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Hours: 32–40 hours per week
Status: Non-Exempt
Estimated Start Date: October 1, 2026
Help lead the opening and ongoing operation of our Sunland Park Pantry. The Pantry Coordinator will oversee food distribution, client registration, home deliveries, community outreach, staff scheduling, and volunteer coordination.
The ideal candidate is an organized and compassionate leader who knows the Sunland Park community and is committed to creating a welcoming environment for every family we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee food acquisition, storage, safety, and distribution.
- Manage client intake and registration.
- Maintain a reliable food-distribution schedule.
- Coordinate the home-delivered food program.
- Represent Casa de Peregrinos at community events and meetings.
- Coordinate staff schedules, training, and shift coverage.
- Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers.
- Prepare required reports for management and the board.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Sunland Park and surrounding communities.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and move approximately 50–75 pounds.
- Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and dolly.
Program Assistant – Sunland Park Pantry
Location: 3465 McNutt Road, Sunland Park, NM
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Hours: 25 hours per week
Status: Non-Exempt
Estimated Start Date: November 1, 2026
Join the team responsible for operating our Sunland Park Pantry. Program Assistants help register clients, prepare food baskets, support food distribution, coordinate volunteers, and maintain safe and organized warehouse operations.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to serving the Sunland Park community.
Key Responsibilities
- Register clients and confirm eligibility for services.
- Assemble food carts and drive-up baskets.
- Coordinate volunteers during food distributions.
- Unload deliveries, stock shelves, and rotate products.
- Help maintain inventory and daily temperature records.
- Follow food-safety and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain program and outreach records.
- Represent Casa de Peregrinos at community events when assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
